In 2021 , the number of sudden deaths of young healthy pilots has risen sharply, according to a new study. The deaths were disclosed in an analysis released by Airline Pilots Association obituaries.

The data shows a staggering 40% rise in young pilots ⚰️ that began in 2021, the same year that Covid-19 vaccinations became mandatory for global airline pilots.

“It must be recognized that the reported deaths represent a small fraction of what is happening in the industry.”
